Choosing an Orthos Liquid Systems, Inc. GRC monolithic filter floor will make a substantial difference in the effectiveness of your filtration system. Unlike the thermoplastic forms used by other manufacturers, GRC, or glass reinforced cement, is a strong material that forms a complete bond with the concrete sub floor. Our GRC filter panels are easy to install and, when used with reinforcing steels, demonstrate a dramatic reduction in corrosion rates.
Introducing a Monolithic Filter Floor using corrugated formwork panels supported by dwarf walls. This design provides a stronger filter floor than the flat panel designs and is much easier to install. The 3'-3" x 3'-3" panels are constructed of glass reinforced cement (GRC and can be readily cut where needed without loss of strength and rigidity. Nozzle densities of 2,25 or 4.0 per square foot are standard. |

In addition to GRC corrugated filter floor panels, Orthos offers GRC flat panels that rest on 6" plastic piers. The floor is then reinforced with steel tied to starter bars that are positioned inside the piers. The GRC panels can be positioned by hand on the piers and leveled to =/-.125" using stainless steel shims. As the floor is cast, the piers fill with concrete forming a complete structure.
